Breast Feeding

Best way to start the first step of prevention. Breast milk provide protection with antibodies. It is good to give breast feeding for the first 6 months. It is wise to plan and give instruction to the maternity centre to bring your baby over to you for breast feeding as soon as possible.( How soon? After clean up my children got breast milk half an hour after birth)
Can wait till the next day? No. It is very likely that your baby has been bottle fed with 'cow milk' after a lapse of few hours. It is ok to give 3 spoons of glucose drink to the baby. Then start to practice breast feeding.( Sure you know the benefit of breast feeding......not only for the baby ! you slim down with breast feeding)

Avian flu ?

Bird flu also killed 12 people in Thailand last year, but no new cases have been reported there since November.

Very likely, modern science can delay the occurance of endemic of mutation. With modern medical science and communication, human can reduce the impact of a possible new, and deadly viral attack.
When it may attack?

The features of Vietnam Avian Flu showed 'stronger' attack pattern. It seems stronger than the Bird Flu of Hong Kong in 1997.
Any time from now to next few years, it is possible that the warning of WHO may become a true situation...new Flu that could kill million of people.
It is important to take prevention:
1. Keep all chicken, pultry, ducks for sale in separate area during selling, separate cages.
2. Transport with care and avoid mixing the commercial poultry and wild migrating birds.
3. Avoid contact with wild birds. ( watch them with respect, photography only)
4. Protect sanctury of birds and avoid human or domestic poultry contact with wild birds.
5. Any sudden attack of unkown serious flu, apply strict isolation rule. One may go for camping
alone.( Have you try to live like Robinson Crusor in an isolated place? Try a survival course)

Belladonna plant Alkaloid side effects

The side effects( see last article of Belladonna flower and plant) are raised blood pressure and may cause stroke. reflux problem, Hernia, aggregation of Prostate enlargement, Asthma attack, allergy.disturbance of nervous system, casuing smooth muscles relaxation, aggregated liver toxic, galucoma of eyes, Myasthenia Gravis, numbness of hands, numbness of feet, limbs, tingling sensation, irregular heart beat ( heart may stop and die) . LAO CCAUSE NASAL CONGESTION, STUFFINESS, AND BLOOD CLOT IN BLOOD VESSELS IN OUR BODY. Not good for heart case with existing treatment with Warfarin.

Phthalates is harmful. Phthalates in plastic causes cancer, allergic, Asthma, Rhinitis, Eczema.

*****Phthalate, or Butyl Benzyl phthalate is poisonous. Accumulation occurs. That means after 1 month, you can accumulate quite a lot of that chemical if you drink from plastic bottle.
A Sweden scientific reasearch centre documented children staying with environment with 0.72 mg of Di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate, or DEHP with no symptoms, then attack of Asthma in the same group occured at 0.78 mg, further more even skin contact casued Eczema and skin allerggic with 0.84 mg level in the room.
It is easy to understand why children and many adults suffered with contact of plastic.
Go for safer material..such as glass container.

Bilberry for eyes

The right amount or dose of Bilberry containing flavonoid anthocyanosides is helpful to increase Oxygen to the eyes. It can improve visual power. Take it easy, and try small amount for one week to see whether it is suitable. Small amount means one miligram extract for one kilgram of your body weight, that is to say, if you are 60 kilograms in body weight, take 60 miligrams of Bilberry extract.
A friend mentioned the story of pilot using Bilberry to improve night vision during second world war. We have peaceful plan at present. Our children can improve their eye sight for reading and study.

We must learn how to protect ourselves. Taking herb should be supervised by good physicians. The famous scholar Paracelsus' classic saying that'all substances are poisonous and nothing is without a poison effect, that only the dosage determines whether what we take is poisonous or not', holds true for medicinal plants and their extracts, and also vegetables, fruits.
Lots of modern medicines are from herbs. Originally Digitalis is from Foxglove plant, which is avilable in every backyard in northern England ( I have searched for the plants in UK). Most of such medicines are from modern factory nowsaday. manufactured in Pharmaceutical production line with advance chemistry method. Thus it is accurate in dosage and can be used for treatment safely and effectively.

Any examples of side-effects of herbs, plants.???
Fox Glove( digitalis), for example, for treating heart diseases, leads to accumulation in the heart muscle and caused heart block and death. Long term use of Juniper has an adverse effect on the kidneys. Uninterrupted continuous drinking of mint tea has an adverse effect on the blood count. Allergic reactions and skin damage are also known in the case of Rue, Bishhop's weed, which furthermore carries with it the danger of liver adn kidney damage.

A simple way is to take natural food such as carrot. Please cook it and before cooking, cut into cube, slices which you think is convenient for you( chewing and also look nice). Do try to overdose by making large quantity of juice. If one prefer to take a little bit of uncooked carrot, then take a piece of carrot about the size of your thumb each day. If you take raw carrot alternate day, it is relatively safe to take a piece as big as your ( )...you know the answer.
How about taking carrot once in a year. Can I take 365 X 10 grams ? ( your answer ? )

A friend asked about herbs. It is wise to leave the preparation and administration of medicine to doctor. In the case of herbs leave the task to good doctor or really good, and qualified herb specialist.
Quoted the rules of UK Medicines Act( regulation)1968: Preparations made from Herbs and any drug should not be used for self medication; Without the supervision of a physician they may prove fatal. Its use is restricted under the Medicines Act 1968.
How about use it for my friends or family members?...Oh, no. Many countries including one famous south Pacific developed country charges the convict as man slaughter. It is not allowed even for yourself as the rule indicate 'no self medication'
