Gawai is Harvesting Festival in Sarawak

Dayak people has been staying around sarawak since hundred of years ago.
Every year, on the first of June, they celebrate the grandest festival day called Gawai. It is comparable to the main festival celebration of many other people celebrating year end major events, such as the mood and the scale of celebration of Christmas or New Year.
The most important tradition is the gathering of family members. They would display their best clothing, decoration, and best food will be ready for family, then friends and guests.
The article on the local news paper today mentioned that they probably come from the mountainous area South west of China, also north of thailand.
If we think of the period shortly after the last ice age, a few thousand years ago. There is a land bride joining Sarawak and the mainland of Asia. After years of elevation of sea level with gradual melting ice. the sea level has raised few hundred feet since eight thousand years ago.

Driving in the rain

I realised that my third son got a scarce as his car almost hit an old lady waling in the middle of the road, and immediately after that another man in white shadowy clothing. risk of certain blood cancers

In a study of more than 20,000 Swiss railway workers who were followed for 30 years, researchers found that certain workers' risk of myeloid leukemia and Hodgkin's lymphoma climbed in tandem with their exposure to very low-frequency magnetic fields.

Train drivers, who had the greatest exposure, were nearly five times more likely to develop myeloid leukemia than station managers, the workers with the lowest exposure to magnetic fields.
